TWO STRATEGIES OF THE ENEMY TO KEEP YOU FROM WALKING IN TOTAL VICTORY:

 

 

THOUGHTS

The enemy likes to shoot darts (thoughts) at your mind in order to infiltrate your heart.  He knows that if you think on something long enough it will eventually penetrate your heart.  Once the thought enters the heart it takes root and becomes.

 

Proverbs 4:23 NLT  -  “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

 

We must be so watchful over the things that we allow to enter into our minds.  God is so adamant about us thinking on the right things that He even tells us what those things should be.

 

Phil 4:8 KJV  -  “whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of a good report.  If there is any virtue or anything worthy of praise, think on these things.

 

You have been given the power to choose your thoughts and to have the same thoughts as Christ.

 

I Cor 2:16 AMP  -  “but we have the mind of Christ and do hold the thoughts of His heart.”

 

The enemy can only interject his thoughts; he cannot force you to take them.  Thank God that we are not held captive by the enemy’s thoughts; instead, we have been given the power to capture them and teach them to obey Christ!

 

II Cor 10:5 KJV  -  …and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”

 

 

WORDS

The enemy well knows that words create realities.  It is so vitally important to watch what you say, because spoken words bring manifestations.  They take on shape and form.

 

The words that you speak are produced by thoughts that you’ve received (taken).

 

Matthew 6:31 KJV  -  “take no thought saying….”

 

Choose to take the thoughts of God, which is the Word of God (scripture) by continually and purposefully saying (confessing) them.  The more you confess them the more you will believe them and then you will have them. 

 

Words are powerful!  You will soon discover that speaking God’s word will propel you into the victory that Jesus has already won for you.

 

Decide today to declare words of victory everyday and watch them take shape!  All you have to do is speak and whatever you say will be brought into existence for you.

 

Job 22:28 KJV  -  “you shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light of God’s favor shall shine upon your ways.”

 

How easy our Father has made it for us to walk in total victory over any of the enemy’s schemes!
